Experience and Qualifications


A graduate of Gonzaga University, I am a highly motivated communications professional with eight years of experience. I have worked in-house for both nonprofits and for profits and have been contracting since April 2011. Specifically, I have experience in the following:

  • Writing and editing communication materials and presentations using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Access, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Writing for different audiences
  • Managing projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time and on budget
  • Writing and distributing press releases and working with the media
  • Updating websites, using different content management systems
  • Creating and managing social media sites
